Does anyone have good recommendations for good sports bras for well-endowed women? I'm a 36DD and I've found two that work well. One is the Moving Comfort Fiona Bra (www.rei.com/product/718027 and for REAL compression and support I love the Enell Sports Bra (www.rei.com/product/730268 Any other recommendations?

Mon, March 17, 2008 - 9:02 PMI am also your size, I like "shock abosorbers" the one for max cardio. There is a new one that is out that I want to get. I have it in my woman M&F mag...just can't find it at this point.
But, I always liked this site:

I got a support level 3.

The fifth one down looks like the updated style of what I got (I got mine about 5 years ago). I am not big, I can wear a 36B-34C, but I do have a lot of bounce. I got these for the fire academy. They strapped me down well! And they were comfortable to wear 13-14 hours a day.

Wed, March 19, 2008 - 8:57 PMmy best source for bras: www.titlenine.com/jump.jsp
Title Nine is a great company that provides support to the womens sports community and to women's breasts while playing sports! heh
Also, some people swear by the Goddess Bra (first endorsed by Oprah when she was working out), but it just felt too awkward for me... but check it out: www.goddessbra.com/
Also, for those that are cost conscious, there is one that I have found at department stores that is about the same quality as some brands you can get at Title Nine... but they just don't fit me right... great color too. here is one of them at JCPenney, which is a good place to try it on (go to a larger store that has more inventory, not all JCP's carry it) www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx
the glamorise has many sports bra models for full figure... including a nice racer back one
good luck.

Re: Sports Bras
Fri, March 21, 2008 - 11:29 AMI found a sports bra from Champion at Macy's, and really liked it( I wear a 34D-DD)...I then found a Champion of a very similiar style at Ross Dress for Less for about a third of the price...anyway, the search for a good supportive bra, sports of otherwise, is one of my greatest challenges in my wardrobe! Thanks for the suggestions from others...Aura

Re: Sports Bras
Sun, April 20, 2008 - 1:11 PMI am also a D cup and have never found a sports bra that stopped the bounce. I have always doubled down. I wear your regular elcheapo sports bra and top it off with sports tank with a shelf bra folded up over a second time! It works, but its a bitch to get out of when Im drenced in sweat! I have to enlist the help of my husband sometimes!
I will say that the best bottoms I have ever discovered are from www.fitnessfit.com. I got my first pair 2 years ago and wore and washed the same pair every day. I threw out every other piece I had ever bought from Nike to addidas. These pants are the whip! Not only did they not loose elasticity, they did not become thread-bare or get a single hole. The best part about em is that you instantly loose like 5 lbs and your booty lifts like 3 inches when you put them on, and on the treadmill I know theres nothing moving back there cause they hold me in so securely. They are the only brand I buy now, and Ive turned all the ladies in my club on to them and are a big hit. -

Re: Sports Bras
Wed, April 23, 2008 - 9:41 AMI used to be a D-cup. I ran myself into a C cup. I recommend
* the fiona by Moving comfort -- easiest most supportive bra - I can't believe I don't have to wrestle the danged thing to get it on and off. Worth every penny. I ran in mine so much I needed a smaller one.
* cheap danskin bras at Wal-tard that don't fit, but squish the eff out of the boobs. The girls go nowhere.
* doubling up on cheapo bras from target - the girls have subtle bounce, but don't hurt.
* buying pullover sports bra sizes one size smaller - then doubling them up
